Privacy Policy

This policy explains what data we collect, why we collect it, and how we handle it. We collect the minimum data necessary to provide the service.

• Device identifier: A stable, anonymous ID stored in your device keychain. Used to count free practice sessions per device. Not linked to your name or Apple ID.
• Location (optional): Used only during live Drive mode for GPS navigation. We do not store, transmit, or log your location.
• Apple ID (optional): If you Sign in with Apple, we receive a stable anonymous user ID and optionally your name on first sign-in. We never receive your email address.
• Usage analytics: Anonymous counts of which routes and test centres are viewed. Not linked to your identity.
• Error logs: Anonymous crash and error reports including app version. No personal data included.

• Your email address
• Your driving licence or test booking information
• Your location history or routes you have driven
• Any payment card details (handled entirely by Apple)
• Advertising identifiers or cross-app tracking data

Premium subscriptions are processed entirely by Apple through the App Store. Rodic never receives your payment information. Subscription status is verified directly with Apple StoreKit on your device.

• Supabase: Our database provider. Stores your profile and anonymous session counts. Data hosted in the EU.
• Mapbox: Provides map rendering and navigation. Processes your location during navigation sessions.
• Apple: Handles Sign in with Apple and all in-app purchases.

Device session records are retained for up to 12 months. Profile records are retained until you delete your account via Profile → Delete Account. You can delete your account and all associated data at any time from within the app.

As a UK resident you have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data. Contact us at contact@rodic.net. We will respond within 30 days.
